Aslı Gibidir
Artist
Just after graduated from Gazi University Graphic Design Department in 1992 went to Paris. Returned back from Paris with four sketchbooks, five boxes of photo slides and thirty kilograms of various junk pieces.
She is a member of UPSD and “Temayoktema” groups. Made paintings with glass-bottom technique, worked and created sculptures with felt, tin and bones. Made civic calenders with “Arif Calender” team for three years.
She still stands in between art and craft, collection and junk. Searching for ‘her Ankara’ not in maps but in streets.
